A LITTLE BIT ABOUT NURIA
Hello, I am Nuria. I was born in Valladolid, Spain, where I graduated in law and, a few years later, in Political Science.
With my left hemisphere I help companies to internationalize their activities, and with my right hemisphere and all my heart I’m a photographer and a traveller. Both lead me to satisfy my curiosity and desire to learn. After all we can’t build ouselves over parameters we don’t know.
I have been to all 5 continents and in more than 60 countries but what really fills my heart is the privilege of witnessing the lives of many different people and cultures, the story behind each photo that I try to capture and bring to life.
When I travel I immerse myself in the culture that surrounds me by living with the inhabitants of the country, collaborating with NGO bathing in a culture together with its people will sharpen your eye for those invisible details that help to grasp essential aspects of it. In the end, I use photography as a means to explore, a license to really approach what interests me.
Life has taken me along countless paths, some wonderful, some less so, but in
all cases the final story we recount has more to do with how we see than with the things we see.
Photography has taught me to observe and realize that finding extraordinarie things is a question of choice.
I choose to continue creating step by step my reality, and try to reflect it in my photographies. I hope you like them and help you create your own realities.
